Our History
Terradon was founded in 2001 by Andy Brown, based in Surrey. Andy has researched the history of fossils for many years and is passionate about creating unique and exceptional fossil items. He has assembled a truly breathtaking range of both artistic and practical fossils and minerals dating back from 500 million year old fossils to a comparatively more recent 60 million years. Over the past decade Terradon has been working hard to secure ethical and fair trade links with suppliers, sourcing the highest quality fossils and minerals. In this time Andy has successfully gathered a talented team of craftspeople and designers.
We are proud to be joining members of the AAPS, The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences. This is an organisation founded in 1978 to create a professional association of commercial fossil dealers, collectors, and academic paleontologists for the purpose of promoting ethical collecting practices and cooperative liaisons with researchers, instructors, curators and exhibit managers in the paleontological academic and museum community.
